Remarks by Artemis Akbary in the European Parliament

Speech by Artemis Akbary, Director of «Afghan LGBT Organization» in the European Parliament, on the plight of Afghan and Iranian LGBT asylum seekers in Turkey.

He spoke about the Turkish Immigration Department's mistreatment of LGBT asylum seekers. He also noted the lack of health insurance and work permits for Iranian and Afghan asylum seekers.
